Music video for Metals new single ‘Drop Your Guard’ featuring Boxwars.
The ‘Drop Your Guard’ music video production was a collaborative work by Metals and the undeniable awesomeness of Boxwars (Boxwars Council).
Set in the fog filled Nordic highlands of tropical Victoria, to the direction of Ewan Macleod from KROZM. Boxwars provided art direction by sculpting some rock pose inducing instruments, and sexual preferentialating costumes.
To celebrate the launch of Drop Your Guard, Metals are teaming up with cardboard warriors Box Wars, who they collaborated with for the epic Drop Your Guard Music video.
Box Wars is the embodiment of both art and destruction. A spark of imagination has become an enduring testament to ingenuity and resourcefulness. A network of cardboard warriors who are engaged in a struggle for the liberty of corrugated creativity
For two epic nights Metals and Box Wars will converge to recreate the undeniable awesomeness of the Drop Your Guard music video that saw metals battle a cardboard army (and win). After that, they will take on Big Sound in Brisbane and One Movement in Perth. Next stop… the world!
Metals forthcoming EP is due out October 2010 and will be an undisputable force to be reckoned with.
