Aloha news update

Things at the Aloha Management camp have been very exciting of late. We recently moved to our brand new office above the infamous Annandale Hotel (17 Parramatta Rd, Annandale, New South Wales, 2038) and have been settling in, but now that the paint has dried and the internet is reconnected (finally) it’s back to business as usual.

With the forthcoming Release of SHIHAD’s newest album “Ignite” on the way, the band have been busy preparing to hit the road with shows starting out with:

4th Nov –  ANU Bar – Canberra, 5th Nov – Gaelic Club – Sydney, 12th Nov – The Zoo – QLD, 13th Nov – Cooly Hotel – QLD, 19th Nov – Corner Hotel – VIC and the 20th Nov – Fowlers Live – SA. After that the boys will head out again on tour with KORN  and Guns N’ Roses.

SPARKADIA’s recently announced tour in support of Indie favourites, Little Red is set to kick off on the 30th of September. With the success of the most recent single ‘Talking Like I’m Falling Down Stairs’ on Triple J, its set to be a monumental tour. For full list of dates see Sparkadia myspace – http://www.myspace.com/sparkadia.

Our newest act, METALS made their Sydney debut on the 18th of September in support of the debut single ‘Drop Your Guard’ to a extremely receptive crowd at Spectrum Nightclub in Darlinghurst. The band returned home to Melbourne to prepare for a slew of upcoming festival appearances including Newcastle’s ‘Fat As Butter’ on Oct 23rd.

Sparkadia – touring with Little Red

Melbourne’s Little Red have announced a massive headline tour in support of their forthcoming new album Midnight Remember.

Accompanying Little Red on this ‘Midnight Remember’ tour will be special guests Sparkadia. Sparkadia are poised to release the first single of the new album, “Talking Like I’m Falling Down Stairs” and return to Australian stages, as guests of Little Red, for the first time since their sold out Auf weidersehen tour in April 2009. “Talking Like I’m Falling Down Stairs” is, in typical Sparkadia form, a melody and hook ridden excursion into ‘odd pop’, and one that teases and harkens to a coming record brimming with excitement.

Hot on the heels of Little Red’s monstrous Splendour in the Grass performance and national single launches that sold out in advance, tickets for this run of dates are sure to fly out the door.

Shihad – Ignite Tour

They’re back.

Hot on the heels of the SOLD OUT run of Killjoy and General Electric album shows comes news of SHIHAD’s national tour in support of IGNITE – their new album slated for a September 24th release through iconic rock label Roadrunner Records.

Those in the know describe ‘Ignite’ as harkening back to many of the original raw elements of Shihad – the rumbling and slow spiralling heavy groove unfolding under the thick crackle of a duelling Telecaster and SG all underpinning Jon Toogood’s engaging vocal.

Joining Shihad on the Ignite tour to round out a smokin’ bill are Trial Kennedy and Black Devil Yard Boss (BDYB).

Trial Kennedy barely need introduction after their incendiary debut album ‘New Manic Art’ ripped through Australian rock airwaves in 2008; and word is TK will be playing cuts from an imminent new release.

BDYB features ex-Mammal members Pete Williamson and Zane Rosanoski and ex-Pete Murray’s Stonemason bass player Michael Davids.  The debut BDYB EP is released on August 13th and their first single ‘One Dead Letter’ is spinning on triple j radio.
